What makes this place stand out:
From the outside, JB's might look like just another mini-mart. Heck, a quick glance inside won't do much to change that opinion. Start sniffing around their coolers, however, and you will notice that the standard fare of macros have been pushed firmly aside to make room for a large pick of craft brews.
The selection of shorter bottles is on par with the better beer shops in town, while the pick of bombers (22 oz bottles) might be the largest in Spokane. Here you will find a wide variety of limited editions and reserves, many not seen anywhere else in the area. The reason for this, perhaps, is that the proprietor heads west-bound on a regular basis to personally pick out and pick up beers that are a bit out of the ordinary.
JB's probably the largest selection of craft brew on the North Side, if not in Spokane as a whole.
